DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR STUDY # 13
2 Timothy 3:1-5

1.  What would happen after Paul’s departure from Ephesus (cf. Acts 20:2)?

2.  Is there a “delay” in the Second Coming of Christ (cf. 2 Peter 3:4-18)?

3.  Do we know the day of Christ’s return?

4. Did prophecy have any practical significance to those who were its first hearers?

5. Do we need a command to love ourselves?

6.  Would humanism, secularism, existentialism, and hedonism be considered signs of the last days?

7.  Are apostate “men of the cloth” now on the historical scene (cf. Jer. 14:14; 23:14, 16)?

8.  What did the Lord Jesus call the religious leaders of his day (Mat. 23:13-33)?

9.  Are we living in the last days of prophecy, or the last days of the body of Christ? (Be careful in answering this question.  It has hidden assumptions).
